Mr Tang is a fellowship trained Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, with a special interest in paediatric and adolescent knee pathologies.
He obtained his medical degree at Kings' College London, with a Distinction in Medical Sciences, before completing his basic surgical training within the Nottingham rotation, and finishing his higher surgical training within the Yorkshire Orthopaedic Deanery.
Upon achieving his specialist certification, he was appointed as the National Paediatric Orthopaedic Fellow at Sheffield Children's Hospital, before completing his children's orthopaedic surgical training at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He also designed and completed a bespoke adult and adolescent soft tissue knee fellowship within the prestigious Derby Soft Tissue Knee unit.
He covers all aspect of bone and joint surgery in children, and also has a special interest in young and adolescent knee problems, covering all aspects of soft tissue and corrective knee surgery.
He is also an active serving member of the Army Reserves, and strives to improve the delivery of frontline medical care to His Majesty's armed forces.
